Ok ok....this will be my last entry for today...maybe. ;)
My maternal grandmother and I have an extremely close relationship. Nana is also the bomb.com in the kitchen and I credit her with introducing me to almost all of my favorite comfort food recipes. One of her specialties which I've never been able to recreate are her meatballs. Some sort of veal/beef combination, they are AMAZING served with her homemade spaghetti sauce and pasta. Served with a light salad and you have a family favorite in our house!
Have I mentioned that she makes homemade chocolate chip cookies? How cute is she?! I'm the luckiest granddaughter ever!! XOXO
I live with two roommates (aka kitties who always seem to be underfoot and in my way....ESPECIALLY when I'm taking something hot out of the oven or off of the stove top! Murphy and Jenny are very much like me in the fact that they love to eat. So much so that I heard a large crashing noise one morning at 6am. This was what I got to wake up to before going to work:
I took this picture after cleaning up quite a bit of their kibble. When they say that "a picture is worth a thousand words," they really mean it -- I was speechless!
Happy eating! :)
